Well I'm still working on that late model 5.0 that I'm putting in my 69' mustang. And now comes the fun part yehe!...wiring up the late model distributor and alternator....how fun.[:'(] Does any have any clue how to splice the wires from the car to the late model 5.0?

 

You'll need wiring diagrams for both. Install a 1-wire alternator to ease some of the pain, if you can. The distributor should plug into the ignition controller directly. The controller probably needs power, but I'd have to see a diagram to see what goes where.
