Default 5.0 conversion

Does anyone who where I can find a web page or something that talks about 5.0 conversions? All I find is EFI but I don't want that crap, I already took off all the fuel injection crap off the car, I'm running it carburated

just put a carb intake on it and use the harmonic bal and flywheel that match the year of the engine. Thats all there is to it.

Lol easiler said than done. I've done all that but, the flywheel I have needs to match that 50oz harmonic balancer in the front, the distributor I was told wont work...hmm...I want to use the alternator too but, I dont know how to make it all come together.

I work at an engine shop and we go back forth with efi engines on the dyno without changing the dist. and the Alt. has nothing to do with making it cab or efi. Summit should have the flywheel you need either them or NPD but summit also has some very good tech people to help you make the change over.

there's an acticle here saying that I'll have to change out the distributor since the late model motor I'm running came off of a 92' mustang

im doin the same thing you are. you need a old point type distributor if youre goin the cheap and easy way . what you have that you cant use is the coil pack (i think, thats what i had). im just changin the distributor drive gear and putting it on the old 302 distributor.

what tranny are you using?
