I already found the good spots to install em in the trunk. I already got the price quote etc. at al and eds. I already have 2 10"s in the celica, but man 4 10"s and i'll be more than happy lol.

Except that system has to wait untill i get my car daily driver ready and the celica sold.

 

WOW, 4 10's in a 69 mach? That's really impressive. I've got 2 10's in the trunk of my 70 mach 1. And since I made room for a spare tire, it was a challenge to find a place to put both the subs. Where exactly were you planning to put your subs? And what kind of enclosures are you using?

 

Ya, my trunk is PACKED with 2 10's and a spare.

 

Hey I got the same headunit as you! The PO already hacked my dash for a modern headunit so I bought that one. I just used the metal thing that goes around the headunit to mount it. I popped the tabs out so it would stay in. I also rivited the backside to the ashtray to help secure it and make it harder to steal.

Why do you need 4 subs in a classic mustang? It's going to rattle to hell if you dont have sound deadener. I can just imagine some ricer come up and say "sweet subs man." I think it would also ruin the fact that your car is a 69 Mach 1, you dont need a huge *** sound system to back that kind of car up. I just think its pointless to have that many, I have one 10inch in mine and it gets too loud sometimes. JMO

 

2 10's in the back right up against the seats in a slim Dual box and two more in fiberglass housings against the wheel wells. Yeah rattling is the only thing i'ma be kinda scared of. As for a sound system ruining my Mach 1, doubt it. Dont see how thats possible because it will be a very clean and subtle install. For me i could be driving a VW bus or a ferrari and i'd still want a huge sound sytem. Doesnt matter what the car is. I just love music and the bass in ur chest.

I'm going with two 10's first to see how it is, (just transfering them over from my celica) and then re-evalute if i want 2 more.
