From Scott Drake you will find correct C4AZ-62432A00-A Remote trunk release for 1964 - 66 Mustangs and C7AZ-62432A00-A for 1967 - 70 Mustangs. There is also electric one C7AZ-6243200-EL, but is only for 1967 - 70 models.

yeah, if i could get a remote one for my 66 and have the key work too, i'd go for it. i really don't see a reason you can't add amenities, unless you are going for a 100% numbers matching concours car.

It was a dealer option so i see no problems with it even on a show car as long as the kits concours approved. I do think remote trunk is only for lazy folks!!! Plus in my old car 98 Saab 900SE Turbo the remote was also on the keyfob and when you closed the trunk the damn thing locked, not good when you left the keys in the boot and the car doors were locked!! So I am not a fan of remote trunk due to my only stupidity!!!

My car had one in it when i bought it 4 mos ago. It does not work yet but it is there and probably just needs adjustment. There was more pressing things needing to be done so it was just left alone. I may try to adjust it tonight and see if i can get it to work.
