Ok now the power steering control valve is shot for sure this time.

Need some advice on the best method of repair.

The leak is coming right from the spot where the pitman arm connects to the control valve, at the base of that stud (that the pitman arm connects to) PS fluid mixed with grease squirts out whenever you move the steering wheel.

1) Now If I just got the 20 buck repair kit how much luck am I going to have repairing it? How long before the rest of it fails? Its got about 140,000 miles on it.

2) Now I see a whole valve assembly for 334 bucks says its all new and near exact duplicate of original. If I replace this whole thing how much play is that going to take out of the system? Even totally new these things still had a fair amount of steering play right?

3) Go manual steering this will take a lot of play out of the system but cost a lot too I would need the 16:1 gear box and a PS to MS converter and it would take more effort to move the steering wheel but I dont know how much more??? However I would never have to worry about leaking fluid any more!

4) A better Idea that you know of?
