good one glen. My 352 is in a 67 F-100. It's the low compression one. Stock 2v, it had 208 HP, but alot of torque. Did any one else notice the room between the engine and shock towers? It also says it has a 351W in it right now.

Looks like a 351 to me. If so, it certainly is not a rare car. Did you also notice the cheap flex hose for the top rad hose?

i have never heard of a 352 for a ford.
You need to get out more, son! As stated above, it was a really common engine. I seem to run across them the most in late 50s Thunderbirds. Also a popular pickup engine.

chill son! i do get out, but i have never heard of a 352 and it seemed weird to have an engine size 1 ci bigger than another. yes i know 427/428/429. []

and glen, i guess it was just me, but it seemed to have a bit of room in between the towers and the engine.

The X code engine is a 2bbl 390. IIRC, it was available from 67-69 in Mustangs but not very popular. BTW, the "FE" family of Ford engines were produced in the following displacements: 332, 352, 360, 390, 406, 410, 427, and 428.

Well, it doesn't have as much room as my 289, and the engine is taller, so I am still guessing it's a 351. But, we'll never know unless we get a block number. At any rate, it's not a rare car like he pretends it is.

yeah, true. it was just that most of the stuff i read on the 351 swap, a cowl hood was normally needed or a shorter air cleaner. but than again, i had another member correct what i had read about the T5 swap needing trans tunnel modifications, so it seems i have a little to learn about the engine compartment and trans tunnel.
