Default 67 Coupe / Removing Rocker Molding?

Hey Guys,
going to be pulling the fenders on my 67 coupe. The rocker moldings are in excellent condition so I do not want to damage them while removing them. Can anyone tell me the correct way to remove these so I don't damage them.
Thanks in advance!

the only way to get them off is to pry them off, do it from the bottom, and take your time

get a flat head screw driver, and pry them off, be gentle and use some common sense and you shouldnt have to worry bout damaging them

Wait a minute before you go prying. On a 68 there are bolts on each end that you must take loose. You can reach them just behing the fender and quarter panel. Then you should be able to just take you hand and pop it off. Pull the top of it out from the car.

+1 with ideal. Don't start prying until you undo the bolts, front and back.

If you do have to use something to pry with, use a wide blade putty knife. They are thinner and won't leave a dent.

well, on the 65-66 models they just have clips that are riveted to the rocker panel, there arent any bolts, but i imagine there is some sort of clip on the newer models too
