eeewwww mopars.. icky! my entire family loves mopars.. I am the only sane person I am related too! Oh and my slowest is a full second faster than the fastest mopar in the family.. hehe!.. We do have some cool mopars though, a 69 and a 70 Charger, a 70 Challenger 340 that belong to my brothers.. I like GTOs, got 3 now. a 65, a 70 and a 72. I prefer them over anything else.. but I think the Cougar will get in the shop before the 70 GTO does... they both need restos, but the Cougar was my first car.. I need to do it.
Strange.. every car I mentioned is above going up in value. I wonder what Civics and Accords will be worth with body kits in 20-30 years... interesting isnt it?

what! no cuda?! yeai love fords more but there are alot of nice Mopars too.
well, new hondas are like, $25,000. after bought they are worth $10,000 even with 0 new miles since bought new. in 10 years they are worthless, 20 you couldnt trade one for pokemon cards, 30, well, lets see, hondas are almost 30 now right? i bet old honda owners have to pay the junkyards to crush their cars

well originally it was my car. then when me and my dad started building it up he dicided it was his car so he got me a 2003 v6. nice car but the more he went crazy on the 65 the more i wanted it so i sold my 03 and told him i want my car back. he was pissed and told me to finish the car myself so i only put in about 5 grand wich was all i had and almost all my money from my job goes into my car. and thats how i came about getting a bad *** car. by the way we built it ourselves it hasnt seen a shop or labor costs$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Yea thats what scares me haha. That happened to a friend of mine in his Grand Marquis, but a horse instead of a deer. I always try to be careful and watch myself so it scares me to think about what kind of crazy stuff will have to happen. Everyone always gets some weird car experiences[:'(]

I'm not saying it is hard, it is very doable, and with as much money as you have in other parts of your car, I'm sure you have 400HP. I guess I am just questioning your credibility and would like to see something to back it up. Is 400HP a guesstimate based on parts you used? It seems like alot of people tend to over guesstimate how much hp their car has. Just because K&N tells you their filter will give 15-20 more hp, doesn't mean it will in actuality. I am sure you are like me and would never state horsepower numbers without backup right?

in all seriousness the engine we got was rated at 365 hp. then i swapped cams, stroker crankshaft, high performance pistons and rods, good carb, intake manifold, full out exhaust. so i thought 400 was a consevative guess and my dad did take it to get dynoed but i havent seen the sheet.

I don't blame you, if my dad got my engine dynoed, I wouldn't want to see the dyno sheets either. So, what's the stroke on the crank? What lift and duration is the cam? What type of pistons? Any decking of the block? Shaved heads? Port and polish? If you bought a crate motor with 365 hp, it probably already had a nice cam and performance pistons in it.
