takes alot to get an 11.9 from a CRX, doesnt it? Then making it live, keeping the trans in it, the head on without leaks, the rods usually stay inside but everything breaks around it. They are fun while they last, and even a low 12 is enough to scare most people and beat 98% of the cars out there.. just watch out for the 2% that are alot faster than 11.9

actually, i take that back i haven't seen a dyno sheet, time slip, nothing more than someone saying that even a 300hp import won't beat them. tell ya what bro, i know 2 civics that aren't riced out that would probably take a nice sized dump on your "400"hp car
the dyno sheets are at my dads bodyshop and if i ever see those 2 civics ill give them a good beatdown. they can try to spray their way past me but when they run out of nitrous and their turbos break their nothing more than grociere getters!

maybe it's just me?) i still haven't seen anything. plus, dyno racing is just ghey. go to a track and show me a time slip. there was someone here a while back who claimed 600+ hp cobra and only ran a 12.20. you wanna make a claim that you are fast do it the right way go to a track and run there.

who?? i see rice haters, THUMPIN455 is interested in the price because in the longrun, his ricebox costed more then his stang and his stang is faster. they spend too much money to get there car fast and we spend less money to get our cars faster.

We learn to appreciate all cars out there no matter the cause. At the end of the day we all have the same hobby. Some go fast, some show, some cruise, etc etc etc...but we all like to work on our cars.
who needs a piece of paper 2 show off their car, just pull up next 2 me one day and ill show you what a fast car runs like. ( i have pictures of the engine but when i try 2 upload them it says the picteure is 2 big and wont let me get them on here) and as for my grammar i got a c+ in english 10 last year

Possibly $3-5.000. It was a used turbo kit and he just sent off the turbo to be rebuilt. AFRs on the car are a little rich (but who the hell wants to run lean...esp in a turbo honda). Just good tuning and good wheels/tires. The car and chassis are pretty sound. He beats on this thing daily and it hasn't given him any issues. Of course...he has the willpower to drive like a normal human being most of the time as well. <--- key item right here!

and restraint lets things live longer. He did it on the cheap if thats all there is in it. Not too shabby, but not everyone can do it. If they could more would right? We got 11.7s from $5k, bracket raced it for 7 years at 12.1-12.0 always ran it in street trim. Slowed it down because it didnt have a cage. Plenty more in it but wanted to be safe, very mild combo, just a large engine in a 3500lb car. More than one way to skin a cat, isnt there? Keep me posted, I wanna know how long it goes between repairs.. Always curious, because the import guys I know are always breaking when they run faster than 12.2
