MD Emissions
i tried posting this in the O/T section, but thought you guys would be a better crowd to ask. ok, im looking at getting an 83 5.0. im in MD. now whats the law w. emissions? as far as i understand thers a certain age a car has to be to be exempt? is this tru? and if so how old does it have to be? and im going to assme itll still have to be inspected right? and if theres anything else i should know about the whole emissions/imspection thing in MD plz let me know. ok, thanks everyone for your help.
If you register the car normally you will have to pass emissions with it every other year.
The car will also have to pass MD state inspection prior to registration.
I have my car registered as a 'classic' and is emissions exempt because of that, however, with classic tags I have driving restrictions. aka - can't be a daily driver.
With classic tags there is no inspection
