Toasted engine
check the engine numbers, if its the original A-code, pull the oil pan and take a look at the bearings[this can be done with the engine in place] if the bearings are bad and the crankshaft is ok, then pull the engine and do a rebuild. I would keep the engine if it isnt totally screwed. Would rather have an original A-code than most any replacement.. With a fresh quality rebuild you can have a good, reliable car again, maintaining the original flavor of a classic.
AHHHHHHHHHHHH [sm=smiley19.gif] there is radiator water in my cylinders i took off the manifold and it was a waterpark.... im too afraid to look any further i dont know what other damage has been done... or if there is water in the other 4 cylinders.. i dont know if its worth it too take off the oil pan and have a look should a scrap the engine?
Water in your oil and vice versa usually means a blown head gasket, but sometimes can be attributed to a cracked block. Tear down the top half of the engine and see if the head gasket is the culprit.
i checked the dipstick the oil smells burnt really awefull stinky i was advised to get a new engine but the cylinder walls and pistons look good prolly need to be ported and polished and new gaskets other than that i dont know...
