Has anyone ever replaced the front end from the where it attaches at the firewall? Got my new suspension parts and I am seriously considering a new clip, finding more rust than I thought and it makes no sense if I am going to do it to not go half way. I have a rolling chassis that is a good candidate for this donation, in fact I would consider starting with that and building up from that base but someone in it's past decided to change the roof and did a so-so job of welding on a roof with rust damage (who knows why....). Anyway, how hard is it to seperate the spot welds where the firewall and engine compartment meet and the frame rails to the floorboards. I am going to replace the floorboards anyway.
