Default Z-BARS

We're in the process of switching from a FE to a 302 in a 68 coupe, and was wondering how the z-bar hooks up? On the FE there's a spot to mount the z-bar, and there isn't on the 302. Input and pics are highly appreciated.

Email if needed: jenglish@qigage.com

Thanks

What year is the 302 block?
Ford, in their infinite wisdom quit putting the mount for a Z-bar on the block after 1981.
There are aftermarket brackets available that solve this issue fortunately.

This is my brothers car, and he just had twins, so that type of swap is not an option.

Is there a Hydraulic conversion kit for a toploader?

The transmission doesn't care what linkage you use, lol
