It's just a 6 blade mechanical fan that is a 17" that you can get just about anywhere. Oddly enough, I was on my way back from the East coast going to Texas, and stopped at autozone I think. Here are a few shots of my setup on my 65 that I said runs cool. You will notice the 4 row rad, shroud, and recovery tank. You will also notice the aircon compressor, so don't let guys tell you that you can't have airconditioning and not heat up.

i ordered a clutch and 6 blade (not flex) today from summit. auto zone, napa, pep boys, advance, and doug herbert have none in stock - so i went with someone i trust.
no one has a coolant resevoir in stock either. will have to order that too. will keep you posted on results.

Might be a dumb question but does it matter what kind of overflow tank? Any type should work correct? I have one for a Dodge Neon that I had thought about using.

That Dodge Neon tank will work just fine. The hose from the radiator goes in the bottom of the tank, and the overflow hose attaches to the top of the tank.

If you don't want a white flashy plastic overflow tank under your hood, you can get a nice 15" low-profile stainless steel tank. They work great and look good too. They mount next to you radiator.

i'm going with the white, flashy plastic tank for starters, just to make sure the combination works. i want to understand the system first and then go for the stainless steel. i'm trying to save up for some 165 AFR heads to put on this winter, (my car is a convertible).

soaring, the pictures are worth a thousand words, thanks.

cannonball888, thanks for the ebay stuff. it looks like a good future purchase.
