Default Window lowering part question/not the actual crank

Alight so the very nice and great mechanic that I bought this awsome car from had the window handles off of all window units. He instead used vise grips on them all even though in the trunk were brand new in the wrapper window cranks. Were he has attatched the vise grips to he wore all of the threads off and on one quarter window actually broke the metal stud? completely in half. My question is what is the stud called for ordering purposes and what site has them?
