The factory rating of 335 hp for these engines is well known to be a total fabrication for insurance purposes. The fact is they were closer to 400 and I figure ram-air is probably good for about 5 ponies.

One other quick note: Doing a little research on the car, the 428 CJ was rated at 335hp the SCJ 360hp with the 3.91-1 ratio that car should really move.

Taking it for a test drive tomorrow!

If I crash it, I will need to sell the shelby lol

According to the website www.428cobrajet.com , there were 2759 sportsroof Q codes made in 69 versus 11922 R codes. This appears to include ALL sportsroof styles, including standard and deluxe sportsroofs, Mach's and GT's. Total 428 production for the year regardless of body style appears to be 15333.

Thanks, that is an indigo blue, it is the same PPG code as the superformance cobras, real nice color, in fact it took me painting the car twice before I was happy, original color was ford nightmist blue, it just didn't do it for me.
