Is there a way to remove vinyl dye? The horn pad on my '68 was origanly green but got dyed black, and some of the dye is scratching off giving me a multi colored sterring wheel. SO in short, I was wondering if there was a way just to take all the black off?

 

Lacquer thinner, and a toothbrush will normally remove and clean for new dye or paint. dip brush in thinner and scrub and wipe.
