I found a wheel and tire set for my 1968 coupe. 17x8 tt2's. 4.75 inch. backspace with 235/45/17. will this work with my stock suspension and stock brakes? i just dont want any rubbing

BY the way, i kno this is in the tire fitment charts in the FAQ i jus want to make sure it would fit from someone else who maybe is running about the same set up before i go and drop the clams down on it. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I have the same exact rim setup and I am running 245/45/17's on all fours. Under a fast turn, the front do rub slightly but nothing to get in a fuss about. You should be fine with 235's...Be prepared to do the suspension afterwards though, because the increased overall diameter of 17" rims will make your stang look hoopDEE unless you lower it a little bit.
