Default cable clutch

I would like to put a top loader four speed from an 86 GT I traded for into my 66 coupe. The only problem I have is the clutch is cable actuated and of course I have the old bell crank clutch pedals. I can get the pedal assembly from a 97 Mustang for next to nothing. Would this somehow bolt up to my 66? I'm sure it would I just wonder if anyone has done it to give me some tips. Thanks.

Default RE: cable clutch

Are you talking about a T5 five speed from an 86 GT? If you are, adapters are made that will allow you to bolt it to your existing bell housing with no modifications to the clutch linkage.
