Welcome to the 21st century younguns. Who needs books, when you can get everything on a CD? Here are your shop manuals on CD. My 03 Mach1 came with one when I bought it, so it is the "Thing" now.

No I don't like those. I have to bring my books out to the garage to refer to so they don't seem very efficient to me unless I bring my laptop out and even then I have to worry about getting grease on the comp. CD's will get replaced but you might have this shop manual for another 20 years.

That's true. I guess they both have their pros and cons

you should buy a high school level auto shop book. it will tell you all the basics of testing parts and auto fundementals. it wont be suspefic to the mustang but it will teach you alot of what you need to know. im shure you could find one at like a used book store if u looked hard enouf. get one that is out of date and it should be cheep.

ok heres whats up as u all know im on a low buget, ive had about 5 mechanics come look at my car to try to start it , and all of them have been telling me to replace everthing and have made too many trips to the auto zone, ya that would be ok if i was rich like most u big tymers in here but i cant, i would much rather know how to test each part to know if its bad or not, ,maybe even with diograms of the framing of the cars, i heard chiltons is good , will it tell me how to test parts? whats the best u guys have read and by the way its a 65 .
Here you can download a PDF version of the 66 shopmanual.

are you sure the file is good? It's not a virus or anything? It seems like a pretty unsecure website....I am VERY tempted to download, let me know if you already have and virus checked it.

Thanks
Darcy

Yes it's good, there are 2 zip files and they contain the pdf files. They are free of viruses. It's safe to download.....
I didn't put it there, I just found it while surfing the net.
