Yup , I was trying to put the hood on my 68 today....And lo' and behold one of the little slide clips fell down into the hood. Where can I get these if I can't get them at the dealership or auto parts store........I shook that hood around for an hour and still couldn't get it out!!!!!! Thanks friends!

 

First, try a magnet. most auto parts stores have a telescoping magnet for exactly this type of problem. Second, these clips are common. Can get them at any mustang supply house on the web, or maybe in the "HELP!" rack at your local parts store. Buut the magnet should solve your problem.
