Headliner removal help?
How should I remove my headliner without ruining it? There looks to be trim around the edge, should I just pull that off and then the main peice will come down? Any help would be great! Thanks
What year model? I guess it doesn't really matter, but on the 65 and 66's you need to remove the windshield and rear window to take out and replace the headliner. Headliners are real cheap though. Not sure why you would want to retain an old headliner.
I have the original headliner in my 67 coupe, and I think its just butt ugly. Instead of removing the windsheilds, maybe I could just cut it with a razorknife along the seam and worry about the little bit tucked under it when professionals replace it?
Edit* Usually I keep everything original I pull off my car, thats why I didnt want to ruin it. If it gets in ym way, screw it then...

Partially true. I have a used water pump, fuel pump, heater gauge, tranny shifter boot, and many other parts that I have been keeping for that day that I might need them, but so far I have't had to rely on a part that I have harbored and stored for these many years, because you can just go to your local parts place or a Mustang vendor and get repros. The only reason why I have these extra parts is to do repairs on the road.
