Default Placing a face

We are still collecting pictures of you guys and your cars. So, if you haven't done it yet, go on top to the "placing a face" sticky and add yours.

I would like to add a pic of my 17 daughter.
Last night she and my niece both 17 were going down the highway when they were ran off the road by a 4X4 truck and while traveling 65mph. (posted speed limit) The car spun around backwards off into the ditch that was about 7 ft below the road surface and flipped end over end twice before ending up on it's wheels. My niece in the passenger seat only received cuts on her face but my daughter ended up breaking her back. No air bags deployed! Her car is totaled and it must have hit the top during one of the flips as windshield and side windows busted. But I am grateful I can talk to her, and she can talk back to us!! Sorry I'm not looking for symphathy just a reminder how quickly an event can change our lives for ever!! 05SDI

That really sucks, i sure i will be the first of many, on this site, to wish your daughter a speedy recovery and I hope the truck drive gets caught. It is very odd that the airbags didn't go off and is something I am sure you would like to know the answer too I would look in to this very closely as if they had gone off the injuries your daughter recived might have been less and it could be a design fault and we wouldn't wish this to happern to anybody else even the truck driver.

I'm really sorry to hear that 05. That's a beautiful pic though. What car was she driving?
