Default what to do

Guys, Im in a delima here. I LOVE MY MUSTANG, but im starting to get sick of having to throw money into it when im trying to finish two other of my projects. Im using it as my daily driver, and it's starting to show signs of not wanting to last much longer. MY freaking drivers side seat in broke inside, it moves up and down. I just had it aligned, and the alignments screwed up already. It spins oil out of the front seal, and i put in a quart every day or two. Plus, gas mileage is killing me. I really dont want to get rid of my stang, but im getting to that point in life where i need a dependable, everyday car. that gets alittle bit better gas mileage. Im thinking about a newer model stang, such as a 87-2000 GT. Im almost 18, but right now my job sucks, and i only get $300 a month, not near enough to pay a car with, so my only option is selling the stang. Just wanted to relieve myself, and hear some opinions.

I thought about the same thing. but I realized that once we are out of college we will have decent jobs to be able to put money into our cars. If you sell your mustang you will regret it. Buy an older honda civic for a few grand. Go job hunting trust me someone is willing to pay you more.

I know guys. Im regretting even thinking about it. I would hate to sell it..... Then if i ever saw riding around, i would probably have a stroke. It's a 66 289 coupe. The problem is, i dont have the money to buy a honda, and if i did, i would find a mustang for a couple of grand, i've seen them. I'll be working at Advance Auto parts soon, and i hope they pay more. Does anyone know what they pay?

At least 7.00 an hour. Why not sell another project that you are not so attached to and make the mustang a new project.

well, The other project is my 62 impala.... which my grandma bought my dad back in 86, and made him promise to give it to me. It's sentimental, and i could never get rid of it, and i also have spent alot of $ and time into that car. The other project, hasn't started yet, but i was getting a 1970 Chevelle SS 454. Very nice, and very high dollar car. They sell for 40,000-50,000. Idk what to do. Im thinking to get my grandma or dad to cosign with me, and get a cheap 10,000 used GT mustang. That would be like $200 a month, and if i'm getting paid 400-500 i can scrap by that. Whatever i do get, it's got to have a V8.

Im selling the truck for $400. THe chevelle costs 3500 right now. WE got a 454 for it, high performance parts for the 454, but we just dont have the car yet. The car needs the motor, doors, and a paint job. It's got brand new interior, quarter panels etc. No one else is looking at buying it, so im taking my time with it, and the guy will let me know if someone else gets interested. Im been looking at some 2001 GT's, and damn, do they look pretty for 13,000.

Oh, Maybe Glen will buy me a GT, or even a Mach ONE. I am like his second son.
