Default Power steering drop bracket

I need to put on some power steering drop brackets to install my Tri-Y's, and was wondering if anyone else has used these before. Do you need 2? I assume you need 1 for each side but I have not really looked closely at how the power steering is all hooked up and figured I would ask before I drop $40 on a pair of these. Also, anyone have any idea how they go on? I figure they bolt to the frame, but not sure.

application is on a 66' with a 289.

Hey
I got me some hedmann headers & a flowmaster american thunder kit for my 66 coupe 289 V8.
They only gave me 1 bracket so i think this should do it.

I just finished priming and painting mine. Tuesday i will have the kit put on there. Can't wait.

the bracket relocates where the power steering ram attaches to the frame, it lowers it so the header can clear it

Yep I have used 1 to lower the mounting point on the frame. I have heard of people having problems with these such as having them rip away fromthe frame etc, but in the two years Ive had mine fitted, I havent had an issue. I think the rubber bushes tend to wear a little quicker, but that is due to the bracket having a large slot instead of a hole, and the bush tends to get squashed into it.
