Default yet another question...

ok, i have looked around everywhere, dallas mustang said they would have a 69 passenger side torque box in stock for me by today, well, i go there, and they dot have it, it says they do but they dont. soooo now i need to order one. but my question is, would my car be fine if i cut out the torquebox and floorpan and not weld a new box in for a week or 2? i dont want to open the door and have something break. i guess im probably overly worried[&:]
