I'm trying to figure out what this is - some kind of switch that runs through the firewall and then connects into a wiring harness and disappears back into the firewall. Not sure WTF it does and the switch doesn't seem to have any on/off activation (just a threaded tip)...

I guess my question is does anyone know what this harness leads to?

i got a little red switch under the dash to the right of my steering wheel

and no NOS!!!

damnit, now i wanna go see where it goes.... but i know the neighbors will call the cops again/

Fog light switch?

 

I don't have fog lights, just high/low beams (activated by button on floor next to clutch pedal) - and the switch looks well used...

 

My Bad....I was looking at the pic in your sig. line, it looks like lights in the grill.

 

yeah those lights in the black grill are the high beams, or I guess they could be foglights lol - either way they're activated by the floor button (which took me a week to find haha)

 

the only black/red wires in the '69 diagram that I can see go to the backup lights.

 

uh oh.... i ripped my whole carpet up and i couldnt find that button........

..............

if it rusted away i can find out what this other switch does and if its worthless i could wire my highbeams to it.
