Default Dirty Windows

My windows (the inside) in my 67 get really oily/greasy, they just like get a film of oil on them, i wiped them down really good with windex on saturday so they looked clean, then on monday they were already covered with the film of the oil stuff again. Its been doing it for a while now, its gotten really bad because of the heat. What can i do? Is it normal just since the car is old or what? i think the rear and front dash pads are pretty clean. i don't know what it is.

hmmmm....I dunno man, I use Windex for my windows and it gets the job done. I think you should have a pro check it out, it must be a leak of some sort.

Are you running your defroster alot? Heater core leaking somehow? Any antifreeze loss?

i don't run the defroster, and i have no antifreeze loss, i don't think the heater core is leaking.

When you figure out what is causing it let me know. I have a 69 Ford F100. Even after an off the frame restoration i get the same thing on the windshield only. I did not replace the windshield and I am begining to thing it's the glass breaking down.

It does it on all of my windows, my windshield is only 6 months old and it still gets that oily film on it.
