Default Room to pull

I am going to be pulling my axles out and I need to know how much room I will need to slide them out. My car is in the garage and I can't move it. I have about 18-20" on the passenger side...will that be enough?

That is going to be really tight. IIRC, the axle is about 24" long.

Add wheel studs to axle length, and room to slide it through, I'd look for about 36" on each side. That would give you room to work. In my experience, You need more room going in than coming out.

Just drop the entire rear end and slide the axle out somewhere that you have room.

I second that, BUT, get a friend to help with that becuase they aren't very light. I balanced mine on a floor jack and wheeled it out myself...
