according to the data plate/obvious rust damage my car had come with a vinyl top and was taken of at some point in its life. has anyone installed a new top on their car?

it seems like it would be easier to put one on than deal with patching rust holes and fixing the screwed up lead work on the sail panels.

What? To cover up the rust, or hide the holes? That would be a bad, bad mistake. Get that top slicked off and painted. Vinyl tops are just a rust problem waiting to happen.

 

i would just fix it, i dont like vinyl tops very much
