Speedo Cable Noise

I have 66 Coupe 302
and have some speedo nosie

It maybe a dry gear or cable
Can I lube from behind gauges ? or remove gable completly ?

Any one have this problem ?

i would try taking the instrument cluster out and putting some oil down the cable, i dunno if it will work but its worth a try

well i would just replace the cable cause they are not expansive and why not do it while you are at it cause these cables are old so why not put one on that you won't have to worry about for another 40yrs
