Default Power windows?

I'm thinking about putting power windows in my 69 coupe. The bolt in kits all say 69-70 with bolt in glass. I thought all 69's had glue in glass. Is there any way to tell without taking off the door panel? Or is there a bolt in kit that does not require bolt in glass? Thanks

All 69's had the glue-in glass. I don't think you will have any luck retrofitting power windows into a car with glue-in glass. I believe you must first install the 70 style bolt-in glass. I know NPD sells most of the hardware, and the glass is available, I see them for sale all the time on Ebay. I have done the bolt-in swap and it isn't too bad, the bolt-in stuff is a huge improvement. The glue-in design was such a pain, maybe a prior owner has swapped yours already. Just take off the door panel and have a look.

I am only the second owner, I purchased it in 1971 so most likely it still has glue in windows. All I need then is the bracket set from NPD and new window glass? About $700 plus the power window kit. Maybe not that important right now.
