Default small auto show today

so i was at a small auto show today. i really need to start bringing my camera because i saw some amazing cars. its going to happen next thursday too so i will bring it then. among the cars, a Real 1968 shelby gt500 convertable and a 68 shelby gt 350 fastback. amazing. they had documents and both were in the shelby registry. also a guy with a 69 fastback with a 351W was there, i told him he should come here to the forums ever so often. there were a bunch of chebbies and some nice mopars. including a late 70's firebird with an LS7 engine in it. that thing ROARED. it was nice.

Default RE: small auto show today

I finally got my 66' Mustang GT Convertible "K" clone into a car show and it won it's first trophy. What a pain trying to get there!!! First off, I wired a 12V cigarette lighter under the dash so I could hide an XM transmitter to play 50-60s music through the radio at the show, and the fuse to the radio blew. I replaced that, then as I drove it up to the driveway, I see coolant dripping from under the dash at the heater core. I shut it back down and tighten the clamps on the new heater hoses with about 50 miles on them. Then I hit the road, and on the way back, I lose the fuel gauge reading. Getting home, I also have no taillights. I need to do some troubleshooting this weekend before the Grand Fall Rod Run next weekend in Pigeon Forge.

Best of all, I got a shipment notification from Year One... my 14 x 5" rims which have been backordered since the dawn of time have shipped and should arrive today.
