u want a dual plane for the street get some good long tube headers the lunati bracket master cam and 700cfm carb and it will put a 9:1 cleveland into the 405 hp range i built a 10.2:1 cleveland for my 72 fastaback and it would pull the left front tire with the open 3:1 rear

i have a edelbrock 650cfm right now. longtube headers is going to be one of the first mods i do coming up. i dont have a dual plane nor a single, its like a quad? 4 smaller holes rather then 2 or 1 big one. but im gunna remember this thanks!

my birthday is less then 2 weeks! so... now im either gunna ask for cash, or a set of longtube hooker headers, and a mild cam, and intake. my carb right now hasnt had much use, i dont see why it needs replacement, maybe a nice good cleaning though.

A friend of mine built a C with a single plane and C6. It had plenty of low end torque, though the mileage did suffer a bit. It was built with a decent sized cam (550 lift/270 duration....give or take). Something like the Weiand XCELerator would work good with its 1500-7000 rpm power band. Just get the cam to match and you'll be in good shape.

Dual plane would be good for mileage.

A single plane intake gives more horsepower, but less low end torque. A dual plane will give alittle more horsepower, and alittle more torque all way around. Get a tunnel ram? j/k.
