Default Dynamat in a classic

I'm installing a lot of my audio soon and I was wondering what you opinions are of dynamat in a classic...

Does anyone else have it?

We put some Peel and Seal from Lowe's hardware down in my son's stang. Much cheaper than dynomat and other sound deadners. Does about the same. Appears to be less rattling, decreased noise level, and reduced heat (no a/c in this vehicle..really helps). I'm a fan of the stuff...

How long did it take you to do? Where all did you put it?

I haven't noticed any smell at all and it gets really warm here in the Houston area. We don't have a/c in the car and the windows are always opened. I've read posts from others on another site, who mentioned having a mild asphalt smell for about a week or so but nothing after that....

We put it from the center of the firewall, over the floor board, and all the way back to the back seat. The pic shows a portion of the stuff laid down. Took a couple of 3 hours rolling it out with a wooden wall paper roller to get it tight and stuck real good (sounding like a real redneck here..) . There is a recent post about the same thing...do a quick search and see the other guy's pics..
