restoring engine, need guidence

It's really not that difficult to pull the engine and trany for a good cleaning of not only the engine and tranny, but the engine bay and tunnel as well.

why would i want to do that, i allready have one, just needs some cleaning, there is nothing wrong with it, i am justa mainly taking it apart to clean and paint it. when i got the car it ran.

well if its a driver then it has the better rear main seal thats less prone to leaking(its one piece) heads flow a lot more air and its a roller motor pkus it would be low mileage idk but for the money of taking ur apart adding rings and bearings ull have about the same money and the old one probably has high mileage
