Posi Traction Unit Help- Cant open

Hey all, i'm trying to open up my posi unit right now to check out the clutch packs. I removed two flat head screws but still cant get the unit seperated, any help?

Its bolted together.. Look for the bolts inside the ring gear diameter.. Make sure it goes back the same way. Might have to remove the ring gear, its been a while since I put clutches in a 8" or 9".. I suppose I could go out and look too... have a few on the floor...

Yup, you got that right. All the bolts must be removed that are holding the ring gear on. Then you can open the carrier up. BUT, make sure you mark everything cause it must go back together the same way.

ORIGINAL: THUMPIN455

I mean i have the actual posi unit out of the carrier. All i can see are two bolts but the thing is just stuck together.
