i just recieved my center piece for my grill molding and i can figure out how to put it on!! has anyone bought one? if so how did you install it.

 

center piece....what exactly do you mean? like the horse and corral or the chrome around the grill or what? generally speaking...barrel clips.....

 

The horse and corral are attached at three places with machine screws. in the second pic, the screw is underneath the circle and my finger. In the third pic there are two of those, one on each side. Pics .....

i use to have the horse corral like you SOARING but i took it off which left me with the middle of my moldings open. so i bought the center piece from mustang plus. when i took the corral off it was mount with screws but this center piece is mounted with some wierd thing?? i tried too put it on but it just wont work out for me. has anyone mounted this piece before if so let me know how you put it on!! PLEASE HELP!

I believe the piece you have is for a 67 or 68. It is attached with nuts from the underside of the gravel guard. The 65 and 66 did not use this piece of moulding so I don't think it will fit on your car.

it is for 65 or what ever, its jsut REALLY hard to get it on, you need another person to help get the bolt on there under the bumper.
