Just had the Magnaflow stainless steel 2 1/2" system installed on Friday, and it makes that little 289 sound mean! A big block would really sound nice with this system. Less than $500 installed, but I am running stock manifolds for now, so I did not have the cost of headers.

Mojoe most likely has the true definition of a classic restomod.

I saw someone mention Summit headers. Any body know anything about them? I've got a 351w with an FMX. I'm planning on switching to an AOD or C4 in the future, but I haven't found a header that will work with both. So I'm looking for a cheap header that will work with a FMX (summit), then buy a more performance pair after a tranny swap. Any ideas?

I have a set of 3 chamber Magnaflows on the way. I read in a survey somewhere that they are 3rd quietest of the hipo type mufflers after Borla and one other ... but they are still supposed to have the "sound" at the exhaust outlet. I'm just tired of the resonant droning at 45 to 40 MPH INSIDE the car. I'd rather hear my radio or carry on a conversation. Guess I'm just getting old or something...[]
