I am have a stock 2 barrel carb today, and I'm having my mechanic put on a new 4 barrel (Holley 600).

My mechanic has one of these COBRA intake manifolds in mint shape he just took off a very nice Shelby clone.

Anyone know anything about this intake? He's gonna give it to me for 100 bucks. Like I said, its in great shape.

still made, it's for geek points, there are better intakes out there...

 

If you're otherwise stock, go for it. Factory manifolds give you the best power down low. If you intend to build some power up top either now or later on, you'll want a better manifold (Weiand Stealth).

 

It is still avalaible. Its basicly an eldobrock performer

 

or you could get the weiand action plus they are basically the same cept the action plus had the rear water crossover
