I decided to test this again on a colder day. It took nearly 17 seconds but I was also going up a slight incline and did not really start at zero ... more like 2-3 mph. When I hit 50 I could feel the difference the hill made.

I still love my little six pony

My car will hit 0-60 in 10 seconds, a tad less. IT's still slow as christmas, considering all the new cars are faster then that, pretty much.

i like the i6 but its sad that some i4s can best them i really think that ford shoud get rid of the v6 in the new mustangs and make a sweet i6 so then it can be totally retro make it like a 300 hp i6 anf bump the v8 up to 400hp

You may have been feeling the effect of the short power curve more so than the grade. If you could manually short-shift the automatic, it should be faster.

Heck, on a cold day it can take me longer than that to get from the bed to the bathroom, and that is less than 17 feet

Think of the Ford six as a husky, suave brute... with asthma [sm=happybounce.gif]

ya thats exactly what it is ford could bring it back and make it so much better and i would buy one i would prefer it over a v6 in a new mustang i would put one in my 67 if they did that imagine a modular I6 that would be cool

I was curious how it would do in 50 degree weather but after nearly 2 hours of driving she was still doing fine with not a single issue.

My little sexy brute definitely has asthma!

ford australia is still using the I6 and they have a OHC I6 turboed that is making 300+ HP and yes if they brougth back the I6 i would get a crated motor and swap it for the I6 in my stang in a second but i would still keep my lil 200 to play with in another car
