I have a 65 fstback being done and the body parts on the front end have been removed so we are going to paint before reassembly.

It's easier to blast the fenders, hood, doors and trunk lid with them off the car. I would suggest that you use another media other than sand if you are a novice at blasting paint off car parts. Sand can warp parts fairly easily if you haven't learned the proper technique.

Also you need a HUGE area to do it.. outside is much better than inside unless you like media all over everything. I prefer chem stripping or regular sanding to blasting of exterior body panels. Too easy to warp them from the heat. Chem should be done outside too.. well ventilated area is MANDATORY. Water is too..

I sandblast the underside of the car, floor, firewall framerails, nooks and crevices where I cant get with a DA sander. Doorjambs are easier with a blaster, but sand down the door skins. you can really mess up sheetmetal by stripping it inccorectly.. Have pics of what incorrect will do to it if you like..
