Another Engine Build Qestion :D
like thumpin455 said 325 with stock heads is a tall order. My setup is almost identical to what u want. 289 .030 over, forged pop-up pistons(12:1) .545 lift cam, rpm air ap intake, holley 750 carb, headers, mallory dist. , mallory promaster coil and 351 heads that have been ported and polished. I've never been an a dyno to get real numbers, but acording to horsepower calculators where you enter your weight , e.t, and trap speed i have 300 horsepower. With a set of AFR 185's 325 should be no problem.
Oh man.. 12:1? Well if you have E85 around it will work, otherwise its race gas time.. I was thinkin pump gas with flattop pistons... Anyway, can spec a combo for over 300hp pretty easy.. its much better with a clutch, but a good stall will work too.
