Default The Legend of Soaring's Slayer

Secretly the reason behind Soaring's dislike for restomodded mustangs is because 83 years ago he used to have this '65 Pro Street Mustang named "Soaring's Slayer" that owned on the streets of Texas. Then one day, Gary Coleman challenged him to a grudge race on his peddle trike.......and Gary won....To this day Glen curses the loss (and Gary Coleman) and vows that he will never own another restomod again.

R.I.P. Soaring's Slayer.

I just spewed beer all over my monitor. Now, that's funny! But the vent window view still shows the skinny assed steering wheel. And, you left the rear quarter panel chrome scoop and drip rail on it.....what's up with that?

Don't thank me, thank Gary Coleman for digging up this rare photograph of Soaring Slayer waiting on deck for his shot at the staging line.

There was no vent window on Soaring's Slayer, don't you remember!? It was a request you made to the builders of the car, so when you did a burnout you could smell the rubber. It was a tradition you did right before you smoked all the ricers in town. And the grill ornaments were actually replaced with cast lead ornaments to add some extra weight to the rear end to keep it from wheel hopping.

Yeah, but I also requested a Recaro steering wheel. Where is it?

This was 83 years ago, Recaro didn't exist yet...hahaha jk Glen. I had to rush the finer details, I needed to start some real work haha.

Well, I'll be danged! I never put eight and three together before. I should have known.

The way I heard the tale, Soaring's steering wheel entered the UPS system and got lost. Back then they didn't have tracking. Rumor has it the wheel is still floating somewhere in their system.

So urban legend becomes a reality. I am awed in your presence Sir!

That is a good one but not as funny as some in the Soaring chop thread from a month ago.

When I saw the pink one I thought I was gonna **** myself laughing.
