Default POST WITH PIC(I think)

Hopefully there are pic with this post. It is 67 Coupe I got it 8 months ago , motor was rebuilt when I got.It was repainted at sometime (long ago). All I have been doing is cleaning and polishing it and tweaking the motor. This winter plan on a tranny rebuild and new vinly roof and some more motor upgrade work.I do drive as much as I can usually in the evenings and weekend.

Nice car, I have a 67 as well. Just a heads up, you may already be aware of this, but I was looking at your engin and I noticed the heater core is bypased. You won' have heat unless you hook up the hoses from the pump and manifold to the heater core. Be careful though, peopl usually bypass when heater core is leaking instead of replacing.

Good luck with your project!

Thanks, I know about the heat thing. The car had factory AC and when who ever rebuilt the motor did re-install it.So I even removed unit from under the dash that houses the heater core and the evp. coil for I have no plans on runnnig AC or heat .

Glad the pictures came through. If I may make a suggestion, I would lose that vinyl roof whenever you go to paint it again. Vinyl rooves are rust traps. Nice looking ride though.

I agree a about the roof being a rust trap. But do you think that if the car will be just a fair weather there shouldn't be a rust problem after a but a new top on it. I like the look of the vinly roof. Let me know what you think. thanks....
