what happend to my brakes?!..
If you're having to add fluid, it's going somewhere. Fluid just does not dissapear. That said, check the inside of the tires on all wheels, more than likely you'll find your problem. It's unlikely that a line split, however, it's not out of the question. If by chance the fluid in not coming out of the cylinders, trace the lines to each wheel.
All fluids are cleaners too. ( brake fluid, trans fluid, power steering, etc. ) They have a rust inhibitor in with the chemical makeup. It keeps things from rusting in the lines, etc. So, if you've had a leak for sometime and it finally blew, you'll see a place that's fairly clean form the fluid.

when did you last bleed your brakes and you might just need to adjust your brakes id they are drums you have to use the adjuting screw i would do those two things then you can check your master cyl by getting vice grips and clamping your three rubber lines if it goes in you mc is bad if not then look elsewear
