original AC weight

Default original AC weight

How much does the whole factory AC setup weight in a 65 mustang? (unit in the engine and in teh car) just wondering. Not that i could afford to ditch it with the 100 degree days we have, but id still like to know. thanks!

well i just took mine out last week and let me tell you it aint no feather. the compressor weighs about 30lbs. I think...

i got a box out of some saturn thats really small and im using a compressor from a 95 5.0 ho motor its pretty light... but if you are really concerned about 30 pounds just take out the back seat before you go racing
