Default HELP!

dear all

i am having a bitch of a time figuring this problem out...

at idle in 'drive' (stop lights, etc.) my '68 will actually stumble and TURN COMPLETLEY OFF. i put it back in park and it fires right back up. if i keep it in neutral while its idling, i can sometimes feel it stumble, but it doesnt switch off.

today, cruising at about 40, i felt it miss pretty bad, but it kept running. generally, once it's going it runs fine. its only at idle its got the problems.

i have the ignitor II module instaled on the stock dist., a 500cfm edelbrock and intake and headers...pretty much everything else is stock...please help me...im in the process of saving for a new motor/trans and the LAST thing i need is to put more money into the pokey 289. thanks in advance, everybody.

What's your idle speed? When was the last time your engine had a tune up?

Bingo Colorado. Sounds like you just need a general overall tune-up.

fast fix is adjusting the idle on the carb but you might need a tune up like they said
