i just rotated my messed up tires to the back, and mine shakes like crazy when you get past 60, and shakes harder, if you put it in neutral. My car is faster in neutral, then in gear.

 

Your engine was rebuilt on 03 but did you use the same carb from before the build? You may need a rebuild and bigger jets? What size carb? 650+ I hope. You should have a 780 bbl pumper or equivelent if you have a decent cam. You have all that $$$$ in the motor and you aint feedin it! Gears play a huge part if you want pep off the line. Also think about a 2500+ stall converter if your runnin and automatic. Gears and a stall converter will make you a believer. If you do this you'll be complaining that you can't hook up.

 

Sounds like a fuel issue above all else. Emperor AND Batman, have either of you upgraded your fuel pump? On the small blocks I would say at least run a 110gph pump. You can't feed the beast if it can't pump out the food.

Gears will definitely be a HUGE help as well. With my engine setup (with giggle gas help) and my 3.55's it lets me put the stank on 4.6's all day.

 

Oh yea, Get rid of the points. Thats a weak part in that engine.

 

yup i would do an msd setup with a DS2 dizzy and get a nice fuel pump (mech or elec) that is high flow then get a good fuel pressure regulator

 

+1 on the points, that IS one thing that I need to change badly. It does account for some hestation at WOT.
