Yes, you are missing the metal dash trims:

And yes, you will need the dash trim clips to secure the metal dash trims:

You'll have to get original metal dash trims, they don't make reproductions anywhere.

I'll be back and try to find you an ebay auction that might have them, hold on, I'll be right back.

I suggest you bookmark this ebay dash trim link to keep an eye out on dash trims:

There's currently one being auctioned right now, but the small left trim is not included:

No problem Mike, be sure to buy TWO sets of dash trim clips for both sides:

Good luck, oh, and I love your ol' school black dashboard, just like mine, cool.

Ha, ya. Hey what are dash trim CLIPS? You stated I need to get dash trims...makes sense, I am currently bidding on a set. But what are the clips, what do they do exactly?

They are like paper clips, they clamp down on both the vynil and metal trimmings.

It's only about $5 for a pair of sets.

Yo Mike, are you bidding on this auction?

Keep in mind that the small left piece is missing, it has the two main long ones, and three righthand small pieces, but the small lefthand one is missing.
